GCSE's

Hi, I'm currently re-taking year11 (I know, it's terrible) and I'm taking 6 GCSE's right now including 2GCSE's I already have will make 8 GCSE's potentially 6A/A* and 2C (all together 5 re-sits) to make 8. Or take on 11GCSE's maybe end up with 11A/A* but by doing this I'll have 9 re-taskes. Which would would still let me have access to top universities? (Excluding Oxbridge) Thanks for reading and helping!

That depends if there were any extenuating circumstances. If there aren't, I doubt most top universities would seriously consider your application. However, if there was a reason you under performed first time around, such as serious illness or bereavement, they are likely to be fine with it.
I would contact the universities you want to apply to to ask them as they will be able to tell you for sure.
