Can I do A-Levels of a foundation gcse grade?

Can I do A-Levels of a foundation gcse grade? I apologise if this question has already Been answered. I have asked a lot of people but they all give me different answers. Anyway for example can I take any sciences? I’m predicted grade 5s for my exams so I was just wondering.

It is difficult to understand the question you are asking. My guess is what you are saying is this:

"If I take the foundation paper for a given subject (meaning the maximum grade I can achieve is a 5), can I still do that subject at A level?"

Have I got your question right? I'm going to assume so...

There is no rule which prevents you taking an A level if you only have a grade 5 in the associated GCSE. In fact, there is no rule which even says you have to have taken the associated GCSE in order to study it at A level. (Many people take A levels in subjects they've never studied at GCSE, often because their school doesn't offer it at GCSE. Typical examples of this would be Economics, Psychology, Law and Business.)

However, your school or college might have their own rules or expectations with regards to your GCSE grade. So you need to check what those rules are with your own school/college.

I just looked up a random school on-line (but your school's rules will be different); here are their rules, as an example:

A LEVEL BIOLOGY: Minimum grade 6 in GCSE Biology or Double Science plus a grade 6 in GCSE Maths.
A LEVEL BUSINESS STUDIES: (No grade requirements listed).
A LEVEL CHEMISTRY: Minimum grade 6 in GCSE Chemistry or Double Science plus a grade 6 in GCSE Math.
A LEVEL ECONOMICS: Minimum grade 5 in GCSE English Language plus a grade 6 in GCSE Maths.
A LEVEL ENGLISH LITERATURE: Minimum grade 6 in GCSE English Literature plus a grade 6 in GCSE English Language.
A LEVEL ENGLISH LANGUAGE & LITERATURE: Minimum grade 6 in GCSE English Language plus a grade 5 in English Literature.
A LEVEL POLITICS: Minimum grade 5 in GCSE English Language.
A LEVEL HISTORY: Minimum grade 5 in GCSE English Language and in GCSE History. (Although you may be considered if you have not previously studied History.)
A LEVEL LAW: Minimum grade 6 in GCSE English Language.
A LEVEL FURTHER MATHEMATICS: Minimum grade 7 in GCSE Mathematics.
A LEVEL MATHEMATICS: Minimum Grade 6 in GCSE Mathematics.
A LEVEL MEDIA STUDIES: (No grade requirements listed).
A LEVEL PHYSICS: Minimum grade 6 in GCSE Physics or Double Science plus grade 6 in GCSE Maths.
A LEVEL PSYCHOLOGY: Minimum grade 5 in GCSE English Language, grade 5 in GCSE Maths and grade 5 in GCSE Biology or Double Science.
A LEVEL SOCIOLOGY: (No grade requirements listed).
