Being an astronaut?

I was doing some research and I found out that to be an astronaut you have to be between something like 63 and 75 inches??
Why so? Ive tried googling the answer but couldnt find anything. Is it because of the costume? Or the fact that you grow slightly in microgravity? Or what?

Most likely would be related to the EMU (spacesuit) and or fitting into a launch vehicle appropriately. There also might be limb length requirements, as is there are for pilots in the military.
