I usually just spend all my grant money at the beginning of each term and then starve towards the end while I wait for my next instalment. I was never going to do a PhD in Economics.
£3240 on fees.
£3500 on accomodation for a year.
£80 per month on food (I hope).
£58 a month on travel (can claim most of that back though).

And then books and things. I'm trying to sell a lot of stuff I don't need or want at the moment in order to raise more cash.

£80 a month for food?

good luck to you... I have no idea how anyone can eat healthily on £20 a week and get all the fruit/veg/nuts/fish/meat etc that you need. I am sure I spend at least twice that.

£2959 Acc fees...paid for
£3242 tuition fees...about to be paid for
£120 car parking...paid for
£175 tinternet...not paid for

After all the above I will have one months wage and 2k overdraft to live on. No clue how this will pan out, no point in me doing a budget I would not stick to it. Hence the reasoning in paying for acc+tuition up front.
At soem point i will prob get a part time job.
