my question is: ‘Miracles lead to a belief in a God who cares for some and not others.’ Discuss.

i am screwing over this question so bad!
i just need a starting point and some pointers really so if anyone can help i would be really appreciative!

thanks,
Hannah

Well, you could start with things like the general question of miracles; why do they happen to some people and not to others? The fact that a god is all-loving etc can be questioned by the fact he intervenes in the life of some, and yet does not for others.
people who are directly effected by the death of a loved one etc can often wonder why a 'miracle' didn't happen to their loved one and it did to somebody else's.

i cant really think fo any other points. strange question really.

ohh like, the difference between a transcendent God and God who is outside time and space (doesn't intervene) like brahman?
surely if its the latter though, they dont really believe in powers of prayer/grace because it the God they believe is impersonal anyway...?
so how does that work!
