Jobs with a criminology & psychology degree??

I'm wanting to go back into education through OU but before I dedicate to the course I want to know if there any definite jobs you can get from a degree in criminology & psychology, any pathways this course can lead you down? I want to study this field but if the job prospects are bad then maybe I should study something with a safer route into employment?
There are no safe routes into employment.

Psychology is a good degree to have if you want to go into things like support worker.
Psychology is an amazing degree, I loved it. But, I will say you may need to be post-graduate study if you want to go into a job which is psychology related (i.e. clinical psychologist, educational psychologist) as these require a PhD.BUT, you can go into graduate jobs (most require a 2:1) for large companies which have good progression and jobs like youth work, health care assistant, maybe HR?
Criminology can lead you into things like social work, youth work, probation officer, the police etc. Whereas psychology can go into many different routes - areas like clinical psychology are very competitive to get onto and take a lot of time and hard work whereas most other specialisms require further postgraduate training if you want to work as a psychologist.
