Can’t afford to live anymore?
I paid £700 for rent and £500 on car repairs and my wage is all gone in one day. What should I do? I don’t have much savings, should I get a second job? I work 18 hours a week and go to uni. I applied to SAAS for a grant but they rejected it when I stated in September.
Car is a luxury for students. Car insurance, MOT, fuel, car repairs. If you don’t have spare money you should use the bus instead

Do jobcentres or the council still rant loans for these situations?
Also this is why people should get small motorbike licences by default when they have a car licence like other EU countries.

Surely you can use that sparingly til next month? Especially if it’s a student account

You can try and use £400 out of your £1500 overdraft until your next payday.
£300 for basic/food/travel and £100 in emergency cash just in case you need it.
