Hi all, I submitted my application this Friday to the MA Law programme, opting for 2022 entry due to my military service in South Korea. I have several questions on the programme & its admissions process.
I picked up the programme due to the fact that it is a post-graduate law degree that spreads out the GDL's core subjects into two years.
Considering I will have to take the SQE that will be launched from 2021 onwards, I think it is absolutely important to build a solid ground of legal knowledge and skills to pass the exam. Is the programme the right choice to offer such prowess? Are there any talks from the programme on how they would handle the new qualification route more effectively than the status quo? I have heard that some Russell Group universities launched specialised teachings for the SQE to their 2021 intakes, and I wonder if Bristol might follow similar routes.
Here comes my another question on the admissions. I am not sure you guys know this online transcript provider called GradIntelligence, but it is from which I downloaded a pdf file of my university transcript in order to submit it on the application. The provider is authorised by the university, so I wonder Bristol would also consider it as an official proof to process my application. I could have also provided my degree certificate, but it is unfortunately not here yet - probably because of the distance between the UK and South Korea. So I want to know if this transcript can be enough for them to process my application; it is quite a strong one I think since I have a First Class degree from one of the Russell Group unis in London.
Thank you!!
