Well I never had to! I guess you'd only have to send them if they asked for them! If they were to ask for them, it'd probably be before they decide to make/not make an offer :smile:
For post-exam applicants you will HAVE to send in your certificates - this is usually done before an offer is made and when everything checks out (as they call up exam boards also to check), you are given an offer (provided you did well on the application process)

For those who are applying via the normal route (eg. not post-alevel), UCAS automatically updates your A2 results when they are released in August to universities etc
after getting my offer confirmed I had to send in my GCSE certificates, they got everything else from the exam board
