Usually people choose part-time masters study if they have pre-existing work commitments, a young family etc. Typically, for those who have time to do full-time study, it's better to get it done faster than draw it out unnecessarily. Some part-time courses can also end up costing more in tuition fees, as the charge each year is not just halved.
