Summer Time Lectures

Are there any lectures summer term? I'm a first year maths undergrad and I have nothing during the entire summer term. Is this going to happen every year? Is it like this in every university?

Entirely course dependent, some will have more lectures, some focus on project work, some have a mix, most will have exams mixed in.

A couple right at the beginning, but it's just nothing after that

I still have some lectures and then its just exams.

Last year, I had placement after exams and then I finished.

The summer term is short but normally time is given for resits etc.

All being well, you are likely to have long summers : )

This can be a bit of a problem with accommodation. I know felt frustrated last year about paying for accommodation that I did not need for the whole term, but it's just of one of those things. It was good to have time to move belongings.
