Applying as a mature student with 100 UCAS Points

What's the likelihood of me being accepted into a uni with only 100 UCAS points? (I want to apply for geography) Since I completed my A Levels I have been in environmental project management as well as a successful Dawrin Fellowship award. Does this help with acceptance at all?

Is it worth applying for a 3 year course rather than a foundation year course?

Your best bet would be to try ringing around universities. I doubt you will be treated as a mature student due to how close you are to when you finished A levels but only they can tell you for definite. Usually universities require 3 A levels not 2 A levels and an AS level. Again you need to check this with them. Ucas points are usually based on 3 subjects. Could you possibly extend one of your AS levels into a 3rd A level and go next year or take an Access course in the local college instead of a foundation year. It would be an awful lot cheaper.

Ring around a few universities to seek their advice as email may take a while to answer.

Two AS levels do not equal 'an A level' and this will limit you to 'UCAS points Unis' that dont insist on 3 full A levels - it may even limit the Foundation courses you can apply to at 'better' Unis.

Look at
Kingston Uni - Geography - https://www.kingston.ac.uk/undergraduate/courses/geography/
Northumbria Uni (Newcastle) - Geography and Environmental Sciences with Foundation Year - https://www.northumbria.ac.uk/study-at-northumbria/courses/geography-and-environmental-sciences-foundation-year-uusghy1

Or, a 1-year Access to HE course at a local college instead of a Uni Foundation - you could then potentially apply to a wider range of Unis for year 1 entry - https://www.accesstohe.ac.uk/
I see, i shall start reaching out to universities. I did think this would be the case.

I think I will continue my Environmental Science course if it had to come down to something. I’m currently still working. Does anyone have any recommendations for online platforms offering material and support for AQA Environmental Science?

This is the first website i found:
