I got an offer from
Both schools to study masters in Architecture,DMU is conditional and my absolute fav but I’m bothered about the ratings and reps of the school
Manchester is also a wonderful school but pricey

Hi,

First of all congratulations on your conditional offer at DMU! That is wonderful news, I am so happy for you!

Of course choosing what University to go to can be frustrating sometimes but as I am student at DMU I can tell you about my experience.

I have nearly finished University now and DMU has been amazing. We have a lot of great facilities in our Art and Design department especially in our award winning Vijay Patel Building where we have lots of space for our arts and design students to do their work! As part of your masters in Architecture at DMU you will have the privilege to work in our design studios and labs. If you head to this link you will be able to have a tour of our arts and design building Arts & Design.

Our MArch programme allows students to gain a professional level award that is prescribed by the ARB, and accredited by the RIBA for Part 2 exemption from their examinations. Here at DMU we also have an amazing team of educator specialised in Architecture who support the programme and they work with a team of adjunct educators who are professional architects, engineers, urban advisors and technologists.

Also it is important to note that full time graduates, with a minimum of 6 months' professional experience prior to entry, get exemption from Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia Part 2 which will allow you to progress professional registration

Here at DMU it is not only about the facilities, we also have so many opportunities such as global trips to other countries through DMU Global. I went to Paris for a psychology related trip and it was amazing. Also we have work opportunities such as becoming a Student Ambassador, one of my colleagues is a masters student! We also have lots of different societies where you can meet amazing people and make friendships during your studies. I have had the best university journey at DMU and will miss it greatly.
