Sixth from college

Any recommendations for diverse sixth form boarding schools or any schools that do A-levels. Also preferably a somewhat top school?

Heya! Saw your post pop up on my feed. No recs, unfortunately, but I'd like to stay in the loop with your sixth form hunting - I'm also in search of schools right now. Are you looking for 2023 or 2024 entry? I'm looking for the latter. I'm based in southeast Asia. Are you doing your igcses or another form of qualification? What sort of schools would you like to apply for? I'd also like to go to a somewhat top school, probably boarding. What about you?
Whereabouts? There's no point somebody recommending you a sixth form in, say, Middlesbrough, if you're living in Torquay.

I’m looking for 2023 entry and I’m doing my gcse this year (in like 2 weeks). Im looking for a school that does some sports doesn’t have to be a lot and many students from all around the world.

I think a lot of the schools have applications a year before entry (but not sure) so good luck! Also good luck with your gcses!

That's a huge area. As the above poster says - can you be more specific? Where are you going to be living?

?, does it matter, because I would go as a full boarder? I don't live in the UK.

I don't live in the UK.

You failed to mention that in the first place.
It makes a massive difference, because most people who live in the UK, even if they're going to boarding school, probably aren't looking to travel 400 miles away from home.

Okay erm, how about Queen Ethelburga's

My mam always wanted me to go there when I was younger but I flat out refused because I didn't want to go to boarding school.

Study for your A Levels near your Home
If you live in or around London our college is a great option to study for your A Levels near your home. Westminster Tutors is situated in two London townhouses, five minutes’ walk from South Kensington underground station, which is on the Piccadilly, Circle and District lines, and all the mainline London stations are within easy reach due to our central location. Many of our students are able to commute from the Home Counties and further because we can offer individual timetables which make this feasible, for example starting lessons at 11am to avoid peak times, or timetabling all lessons on 2-3 days.

Near South Kensington tube station.

I’d say Duke Of York Royal Military School in Dover is a good one, their fees aren’t as high as normal private schools but teaching and sports r really good
