Can you re-take A Levels straight away?

Let's say you fail to get into University, can you re-take your A Levels and reapply within the same academic year?
No. Stop being so pessimistic, and try your best

If, come August 2023, you find that you haven't got the grades you need to get onto the course you want you could arrange to re-take you A levels in May/June 2024. You'd be able to re-apply via UCAS in September 2023 for university courses starting in September 2024. So you'd be re-applying via UCAS and re-taking your A levels in the same academic year. Is that what you meant?
