Eng lit

For the exam i pretty much used quotes mostly from the extract and did that for most of the paper for both questions but at the end I added a paragraph for each question abt the wider text but without any quotes just like a description of some sort to describe the question to the wider text., will i still do ok or am i cut off to a certain mark??
