No they are not. It actually says 2019 spec on the relevant section!

The style is wrong - sadly the guy died and these are just not what teachers would recommend now.

Maths is maths and whether the style is right or wrong, the concepts are the same. I use them for revision as my teachers tell me too and they work well for this purpose.
