Transferring to different uni

im currently a former first year student who just dropped out of uni after the course year has finished and im wanting to reapply to a uni closer to my home and i wanted to get some advice/guidance on how i could go about doing that and i would also like to know how it would affect my student finance when i reapply as well as how or if it would affect my ucas application when receiving offers. Any advice given is appreciated
