American Universities and British Transcripts (GCSE&A-levels)
I am planning to applying for places like Stanford, UChicago etc and I am slightly worried about their interpretations of transcripts. Throughout GCSEs I mostly got given 7s and 8s in my reports even though my mocks were mostly 9s. My school always lowered our reports by one grades from our mock results. I ended up achieving 7 nines, 3 eights and 3 sevens. I am predicted 3A* and a B for A-levels maths, FM, physics and chemistry respectively. After getting a C in my chemistry mock on a bad day I am worried I messed up my transcript. I hope to fix this with September mocks (for my predicted grades) however I am worried that these will weaken my application.
