PGCE Requirements

I am currently studying towards an MBBS Medicine degree. Would this allow me to complete a PGCE afterwards if I so wish in order to teach Biology?

I would say very likely. See the following PGCE (biology) degrees as examples:
https://www.ucl.ac.uk/prospective-students/graduate/teacher-training-programmes/science-biology-pgce
https://www.kcl.ac.uk/study/postgraduate-taught/courses/pgce-biology
https://www.manchester.ac.uk/study/masters/courses/list/11519/pgce-secondary-biology/all-content/

You would need to check with the individual university to double check, but I don't see a problem with it.

Thank you so much! Looking at UCL's website I should be fine actually - looking under the equivalent degrees tab, if you select Australia it mentions medical/dental degrees specifically as acceptable for both Biology and Chemistry PGCEs. Admittedly I'm studying in the UK, but surely that's a good sign
