Foundation year in nursing

Hey,I’ve completed my foundation year and then studied my nursing degree which is a 3 year course.

I failed one module and that means that I’m having to redo one module but will student finance fund me for this module?

My friend was told that it would not be funded by sfe but another colleague said it would.
has this happened to anyone else and what was the outcome.

Is the foundation year classed as the gift year?
