Hi!

I do not study business management but I can tell you a little about the university in general! I am in my fourth year at Lancaster and have really enjoyed living and studying here! It is a campus uni and the campus has a big community feel about it with plenty of green spaces and places to study as well as places to relax and socialise! I have lots of lectures in the management school and it is my favourite place to study on campus! There are lots of different study areas depending on how loud you want it to be and has a small cafe as well! I also love the city itself, it is full of independent cafes and shops as well as restaurants and pubs to explore. It is also just a short train journey to Manchester or the Lake District if you want to get a change of scenery.

I hope this helps give you an idea of what Lancaster is like!

Hi @vavalur
Similar to Florence, i also don't study Business, however i have had lots of lectures in the Management School and its a really nice space to work with lots of nice individual study spaces above the lecture halls, as its one of the universities newest buildings. The university has lots of study spaces dotted around campus, with my favourite being the library as a good quiet place to study. I really like how the university also has a college system, which i really like as its like a smaller friendly group of people that you get to know through your time at university, that run lots of events throughout the term. Also, Lancaster has over 200 societies to get involved in so there's really something for everyone in term of what interests you are into!
In terms of the city of Lancaster, its quite a small city, but its a really good size with a good variety of shops, cafes and pubs, and the city is really friendly, with a large student population you always seem to bump into friends in town. There's always lots of events going on in town, like recently there was the music festival in lots of local pubs and bars, and the city in general just has a really good atmosphere. Lancaster is really well connected as well to other places in the North west as the Lake District is only 40 minutes on the train if you like getting outside and hiking, or if you prefer the city, Manchester and Liverpool are both nice and just over an hour on the train.
Hope this helps!
