Looking for Unis with a good games art course

Hiya! I've been looking for unis with good games art courses that are under 2h away from Brighton(preferably, at least).
The main course I've been interested in is the games art course at Farnham UCA, but I have some reservations about it and want to also have some back ups. I've found a few decent looking general games design courses, but I honestly have even more reservations about games design courses, since I took games design in college and it really wasn't a very great course, not to mention I'd like to focus primarily on art(3D mostly)- but I do think that that might just be my distaste for my previous course colouring my opinions.
If you've taken or are taking games design in Uni, what are your experiences with it?
And if anyone knows of any good courses within or around the general sussex area, what would you reccomend?
