GCSES Maths resit 2024

Is it possible to resit even though I've gotten a 5 in maths. I really need a 6 minimum to get into top universities and my school won't allow me to resit with them. I've looked into resitting privately but it costs upwards of $200. Is there any other method?

Hi, unfortunately I think that the only way to resit is through private entry or individual candidate. I think you should try to have as much of a discussion as you can with people at school who might help give you advice on what to do, some private exam centres provide bursaries (I think) but you should check online to see if they do.
