Taking Bio and Chem after sitting my a levels, should I resit math?

Okay, long confusing title but, I have already sat my exams and gotten ABD, A in English, D in math, and I was considering resitting math.
But, if I do, that's a gamble on going from a D to an A* not to mention the heightened grade boundaries and the lack of options.
I'm taking a 2 year a level biology and chemistry right now after having sat my a levels, in order to get into Medicine. And my teacher says Medicine uni's only consider 3 of your highest grades, that being My English A and hopefully A's in biology and chemistry.
But, I'm not sure if uni's will still look at my math grade and consider my application worse than others. Should I go through with risking a retake or not? Need answers asap as the resit fee won't be refundable.

Most med schools require at least 3 As at A level taken in one sitting, and would not count your A in English if it was taken separately. If you had achieved AAA in the exams you had taken, it would have been fine, but ABD and 2 years later AA would not meet most requirements. So you either need to resit your maths with your bio and chem or do a different 3rd A level at the same time.
