GCSE Grades For Medicine
Hi,
I am interested in going into medicine, however I didn't get particularly strong grades at GCSE, compared to what other applicants would likely be applying with. I got:
- Maths - 5
- English Language - 7
- English Literature - 7
- Biology - 8
- Chemistry - 7
- Physics - 6
- Art - 7
- Business Studies - 6
- Geography - 8
Would it be worth it for me to resit my maths and try and get into medicine?
I am in Year 12, and doing Biology, Chemistry, and Geography at A-Level

Yes definitely, you must try and retake it as soon as possible as some schools will only consider the new grade if the exam is taken within one year.
