Feeling worthless after Imperial rejection
I applied for a master's at Imperial which was my dream university to go to and got rejected. 😔
I worked so hard during my undergrad so far and am on track for a first since I'm graduating soon. Put so much time and effort into my application and my referees also made an effort. I feel like all this hard work was for nothing in the end...it's been two days already since the rejection and I still can't get over it.

I imagine Imperial is pretty competitive for most masters courses.
I don’t work there but my own dept gets around 10 applications per available place. We reject a lot of candidates, including those with firsts.
Your best bet is to ask for feedback and see if it’s something that you can remedy if you chose to apply again in the next cycle.
