Sheffield and Southampton for Mech Engineering
I’m looking into applying for Sheffield uni for a BEng mechanical engineering with a placement year after the ucas exhibition. I’ve heard a lot of great things and plan to go to their open days. Also looking into Southampton but I’m worried that it lacks diversity. As someone who doesn’t drink, what’s the diversity and social life like at these two unis? I know the city of Sheffield is quite diverse and friendly but idk about the unis
