Comments on each of your uni choices [have you visited? did you like it? what will be your firm/insurance? etc!]:
Cambridge: love the city and the course - still amazed I got an offer through the pool. Firm acceptance.
Durham: great reputation for Geography, but a little too quiet and very far from home. Van Mildert was brilliant though. Insurance acceptance.
UCL: wasn't too sure about applying here because I hate London, but I did so on the basis of its reputation for Geography. My expectations were exceeded when I visited, and my interview went really well. The department staff seem very caring about its students. A little sad that I had to decline my offer!
Southampton: never visited, but it looks good enough from the prospectus.
Exeter: lovely campus and location, but the Geography department is nothing spectacular.
Leeds: I don't really know why I applied here actually, but I know the Geography department is good.
