Usually my nan walks our dog down the canal every afternoon and she meets a lot of fellow dog owners along the way. I took the dog instead yesterday and met one of the owners and her dog, and got talking to her, told her i was the granddaughter etc etc and then this complete stranger just before we parted ways told me that i had fantastic skin lol, put a smile on my face :smile:

Internet compliments don't count and people generally tend to be nice and say things they don't mean in the way you've percieved them ("you look great" = "I'm obliged to say this cause I haven't seen you in a while").

in total honesty, i can only recall being complimented by family members ie when dressing up for a wedding. otherwise no, but i'm the sort of person who isnt bothered by looks haha

I only ever seem to get complimented by middle aged people... apparently i'm attractive but people my age dont seem to think so, or at least they've never told me to my face.
