Going to a hot boy's room for a few hours = best form of procrastination ever?

Can't count the number of times I've done that

Getting the hot boy to come to you is better still, surely?

But that doesn't boost one's 'how many colleges have I slept in' score. :ninja:

But srsly, much less distracting not to still see problem sheets on the desk. And visiting new places is fun!

Is anyone else going on varsity ski trip?

I'll be going. Probably won't be bothering with any of the parties/clubbing though.

My college had a bop the same night, which was fairly well attended given the alternative option!
It had a prehistoric theme. I went as a cow :ninja:

I think I saw you bunch on high street at midnight-ish, it looked like a very well attended bop

I really need to internalise the fact that an A4 problem sheet can and does take an entire day to do. At the moment I can't get past the feeling that a page of questions takes an hour at most. This is not a healthy thing to believe.
Stayed up all night to meet a deadline of 5 pm today. At 2 pm made the fatal error of thinking I could get an hour's sleep then hand it in. Slept through alarm, just woke up, and it's bloody late :frown:
Just wondering...anyone going to the RAG ball?

Also, anyone with any experience of this/other black tie balls...what sort of things do people wear? Like, how formal are the dresses?
Why can't I motivate myself? My essays due tommorrow at 12, I've barely even done any of the reading and I'm still procrastinating >.< I need to get used to the idea that it's not like a levels and I can't thump it out the hour before it's due to be handed in.

I'm not because I can't but I know so many people who are. As to dresses - it's not as formal as you might think, not for black tie anyway. A fair few girls will wear full length dresses, but many will wear shorter ones. It's a nice chance to dress up, but less rather than more is the norm.

You save your fancy dresses for the commemoration balls!

5th week GTFO

this so much. i've completely run out of motivation for anything and have a craaazy hectic week. ugh.
5th week bluuuuuuuuuuues

Actually I don't get them - not that it's stopping me from taking advantage of free Welfare hot chocolate - 6th Week is worse for me normally, but I've only got one essay next week and it's on a subject I actually know a lot about.

YAY

In sadder news - Park End's demise is breaking my heart. Wednesday nights just won't be the same, nothing cheers me up like the cheese floor (I think I know all the words to every song they play). Park End is the perfect post crew date club - easy to lose that annoying rugby player, and easy to bump into everyone else you know. Plus I'm going to have to conclude my study far earlier than I hoped - I have this theory that it's near impossible to pull on the cheese floor. You have to find them in the dance rooms, then persuade them that the cheese floor is the place to be. Neither I nor any of my friends have ever pulled directly on the cheese floor, it's like the opposite of Fuzzy Ducks.

That ends Poppy's first lesson on Oxford nightlife... Coming soon: Camera and why does it seem to have a monopoly on Oxford night life?

I'm not going to the RAG ball since I went to the Union one; in terms of dresses my college wife went in a (spectacular) full-length dress, but she was at the top extreme of dressiness there; plenty of girls were in shorter dresses that probably come under the 'cocktail' category.
i haven't gotten college married yet, should probably get around to it at some point...
