No, he is totally serious. As was I when I said blood letting is the latest cure for fever.
But you don't have a problem with cockologists?

haha funny...sarcasm is difficult to detect in plain text...
and u mean a urologist

Ataloss
No! For a start it is hugely sexist. How can it be right that a specialty looks after women only? Especially when it places such a large burden on the NHS.
Secondly do you think it is moral for people to looking at female genitalia all day? Of course not

there is a job that looks after men only too.....and doctors could specialise in both professions...
it doesn't place a mega burden on the NHS
and i think it's a moral job when it saves lives....some men and women have very serious problems with their genitalia and because people do these jobs they have a better life

Urologists look after woman too because they also have a urinary system and can get complications with it. Women get bladder cancer etc..

There is no specialty that looks after just men - it is just ridiculous! Not only that they get special Maternity units. In Liverpool, there is even a Women's hospital!!!!!!!!!!

Looking at female genitalia all day is not good for you. :yep:

errrrrrrm no. women have urogynaecologists...
in certain countries in the world there are men only hospitals...and some women have problems being around men (not including all the religious things)
and yes they get maternity units....if they were for the men who'd just carried a baby for 40 weeks then they would be paternity units but men don't get pregnant so this is not a possibility...but men are allowed in maternity units.

and tell that to half the teenage boys (and girls) who watch porn daily...

Wonderful - men have to commit murder or become sexual predators to get access to male only health facilities.

Women get it simply due to being born female.

Still think it is moral?

Yeah. It's my second choice of specialty, right behind titsology.

...across the world there are male only hospitals i just don't know of them cos...oh i'm female...and google didn't give me any that didn't have prisoners in them but they are there. esp in societies where women have their own hospitals, i just can't name them...
and many places have segregated areas and limited visting times for females in male areas and males in female areas

So it's tits > cock > vagina.

Wow - I didn't see that coming.

I seem have to have negotiated myself into something of a trap :colondollar:

Maybe I should revise that...:dunce:

Yes, I agree with all this! I wish there were better provisions for single parents who can't cope and that care facilities weren't so dreadful that they mucked up the lives of lots of kids who end up there. But I think until they are improved, decreasing abortion provision would be disastrous.

Yup, true, but on the other hand women should not feel pushed into abortion because they believe they get no support, etc. I do believe we are arguing the same side though, so .
*reads above posts* Okayyy... :s-smilie:
What I do find ironic are the extreme anti-abortion/pro-life supporters who engage in violent protests and think that those who abort should die.

Like that abortion doctor in the US who was shot dead at a church...

I am definitely pro choice buuuttt i think there needs to be some way of hammering home contraception and that abortion is not a form of it.
It sounds really horrible saying it but what about the mothers life??? She should be able to choose if she wants a baby yet. Although she probably should have been more careful so she wouldnt have got pregnant in the first place.... hmmm...
