summer travel

although i was unable to take a gap year, i'd really like to get a little bit of travel in during this summer for either one or two months. i can't really afford to go far, so it's europe only, and it would be a huge help if it was paid work, or some kind of volunteer scheme in which accommodation and food is paid for.

does anyone have any ideas?

Have a look in here. They have 2 weeks volunary work camps in different countries. You have to pay very little and you get nice accomodation and food. I was with them last summer in Czech republik and it was great. I need to warn you that work can be realy hard (I cannot lokk at anything green after removing weeds from old cementary for 2 weeks lol) but atmosphere is briliant and you can meet some real great people.
