Hi, most of the facilities are in Headingley but there is a gym at the civic campus too. It costs £35 a year.

I think most of the information is here - http://www.leedsmet.ac.uk/sport/
and this shows what is at each site - http://www.leedsmet.ac.uk/sport/sports_centres.htm

Facilities
Access for All

The best way to access Leeds Met's broad range of sports facilities, from fitness rooms, to climbing walls, is to purchase a Sports Pass.

The Leeds Met Sports Pass
A Leeds Met Sports Pass costs just £35 for students and £45 for staff and is valid for the whole academic year - you won’t find better value anywhere in the region. The pass gives you access to our state-of-the-art fitness centres at Headingley Campus and the Civic Quarter and is an absolute essential item whilst you are at Leeds Met.

How to Get a Sports Pass
Staff and students can purchase a Sports Pass at the Carnegie Sports Centre Reception, Headingley Campus, or from the Fitness Centre, Civic Quarter. Make sure you bring your staff or student card with you. Students can also purchase a Sports Pass from Fresher's Fayre at enrolment.

Don't Have a Sports Pass?
No problem, students and members of staff may use the facilities on a casual basis without purchasing a sports pass. Casual users pay £3 per visit and must produce either a staff or student ID card. Note that casual users cannot book facilities.

Bring a Friend
Non staff and students can use the facilities on a casual basis as a guest of a Sports Card holder. Guests pay £3.50 per visit and must be accompanied by a sports card holder.

Facilities For All

Leeds Met has a huge range of top class sports facilities, with regional centres of excellence in Athletics, Tennis and Gymnastics. Whether you are using our facilities for recreation and fitness or as a competitive athlete, we guarantee some of the best facilities in the region. Use the links on the right to learn about the facilities we have for a wide range of activities.

Athletics
The eight lane, all-weather track and Athletics Centre facilities were completely refurbished in June 1998 with the help of National Lottery funding. The centre provides opportunities for all ages and abilities to train throughout the year. Leeds Carnegie Athletics Club, Leeds Metropolitan Athletics Club and other Leeds based clubs train on site with full coaching support. Junior athletics coaching sessions take place weekly.

The Centre is free for use by all sports pass holders.
All technical events require the presence of a coach.
For students holding current athletics qualifications, coaching opportunities are available.
Fitness and Weight Training
Headingley Campus and the Civic Quarter support fully equipped weights and conditioning rooms with a range of modern weight machines and cardio-vascular machines. In addition, there are 'satellite' facilities at Kirkstall and Sugarwell residences. Sessions are available at Headingley Campus and the Civic Quarter.

These fitness and weight training areas are designed for all users, women and men. However, to ensure the safety of all, University Sport requires everyone to have an induction in the use of the equipment.

This induction enables new users to become familiar with the modern weights machine and cardio-vascular equipment. Induction sessions take place in the weight training rooms at Headingley Campus, Kirkstall Brewery or Sugarwell Residences - check the notice boards at Carnegie Sports Centre or in your Halls of Residence for induction times.

Programmes and courses to develop your understanding of fitness, training and well-being are available for which a small charge is payable.

Strength & Conditioning Room
At the Carnegie Sports Centre there is a separate free weights facility. People interested in using it need to gain specialist accreditation. Accreditation status may be given to those people who have relevant qualifications (e.g. BWLA Leaders certificate), or previous experience. For accreditation information check the Carnegie Sports Centre Reception. Access to the Strength & Conditioning Room costs £5 per annum for Sports Pass holders.

Football
The University has two full size floodlit synthetic pitches, a multi-use games area (MUGA), indoor sports halls and outdoor grass pitches. Football at Leeds Met is in a healthy state with the potential to develop even further. The university is keen to build on the Clubs’ recent success, and have appointed UEFA 'A' License coach and FA Coach Educator John Hall to work with students' union teams and oversee the football development at the university.

Gymnastics
The Carnegie Regional Gymnastics Centre was opened in November 1989 by the late
Ron Pickering OBE and plays host to Leeds City Gymnastics Club, Yorkshire and Humberside Amateur Gymnastics and, more recently, became a High Performance Centre for men’s artistic gymnastics - one of only three in the country. Student gymnastics also takes place within the centre and training sessions are timetabled on a Wednesday and Sunday. The student club competes in BUSA competitions and was BUSA champion in 2003/04.

Tennis
The Carnegie Regional Tennis Centre is a Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) Performance and Matchplay Centre. It consists of four indoor courts, four outdoor acrylic courts and four outdoor clay courts, funded by the LTA and the National Lottery.

The indoor centre provides a number of opportunities for students interested in tennis:

University Tennis Club - facilities to train at set times on the indoor courts for Club Members and opportunities to play matches
Access to coaching
Attaining Personal LTA Coaching Awards
Tennis club membership confers additional opportunities to book indoor and outdoor clay courts, when available. Students not wishing to join the Tennis Club may use the outdoor acrylic courts (weather permitting). These courts must be booked at the Carnegie Sports Centre Reception.

Swimming
The University has a traditional 20 metre swimming pool which is part of the Headingley Campus leisure facilities. The pool is for students, staff and teaching groups. We want all our customers to enjoy this facility and so have allocated time for staff, students, women and family groups. Please ask for an up to date programme of opening times by contacting the Carnegie Sports Centre Reception.
