I have SIA training on Saturday and was just wondering if it's quicker to walk from Stratford station or Woodgrange Park station?

Get a train from Stratford to grange park station, that's the closed one to city gate building

I wanted to know has anyone compeleted there SIA door Superviosr course
and been invited for a SIA Additional Training course this and next weekend.

I find this very strange. Is the SIA Additional Training different from the previous course or is it the same?

Does anyone have SIA Additional Training on there training schedule.

i have done the DS course and passed it, they said you need to do it again due to job circumstance but then its the same stuff.
guys i need help to get the training place from manchester which is absolutely adventure.

the train is leaving manchester 12:35 to 14:42-London Euston

14:42 London Euston, arrives 14:42 London Underground Zone 1-6 by tube
Now then how would i get to City gatehouse 246-250 Romford Rd,
underneath it says
Route: This ticket allows travel on any permitted route.
i don't know what ^^ means

Did you do the SIA course with g4s or before you got the g4s role with another company? Did they make you do another 4 days even though you had the licence and did you need to do an exam again? I gained my licence in March and do not see any reason why i should attend training for something i already have.

I gained a SIA door licence after my g4s olympic interview, but before training started. I've had numerous emails asking me to attend the SIA course as part of the training process, yet when i have spoken to g4s on the phone they said there was no need for me to attend. It seems their automated system can't handle people that have gained an SIA on their own merrit AFTER the interview.

Now today i get yet another email for the SIA training this weekend and next weekend, but like you i do not know if this is different in any way...Did you gain your SIA licence as part of the g4s olympic training?

Also in the email it mentions reading some documents in regards to Romford venue, but these do not exist on the email or the g4s site. I'm sure i read somewhere a person turned up to the Romford venue and was told to go elsewhere. As it stands i have accepted the invitation and will most likely attend just to be sent home when i show the licence. If it is the SIA licence course it's a joke after being told i do not have to attend...

Please keep me informed if you get any information regarding this weekend and if the training is additional on top of an existing licence. I have sent g4s a long email on the matter, but chances i get a reply before Saturday are slim.

Thanks!

Take the underground to Stratford station. Once there you need to get a bus and there is a bus stop outside the city gate. Can't rembere which once but go to TFL route planner and check

It's cheaper and faster to get the overground/ national rail train from Stratford to forest gate station, then it's a 5 minute walk to the city gate house and you'll pass a coop and greggs etc, would definitely recommend getting something nice to eat and some water or coffee because they don't provide many water machines and no coffee or tea stuff at the training place for SIA

Sorry I don't know why I said that station: the closest station to the city gate house is Forest Gate: literally a 5 minute walk. Trains to every 10 mins from Stratford station to forest gate, and it's about 4 minutes. But it's a 30 minute walk from Stratford all the way up Romford road to 250 from Stratford! Did it on my first day and was super tiring

So far i have done skills for security, rapiscan training and then last week 2 days specific training in PSA. This is why i'm confused with these extra training dates for SIA considering i have a licence. I thought i had completed all training at this point in time.

Thanks for the reply.

Hi Did anyone find out if you would need to attend the additional sia training in the weekend if they already did the sia door supervisor course.

Is this further training that is different? I am trying to find out. But the telephone line is busy.
