I here everyone moan about how hard they are. Are they harder in content {difficult to understand} or is it basically the same level as GCSE just quadruple the amount of stuff to learn? I'm doing English A Level and technically that can't really get harder, I'll just have more books to read and essays to write. Thoughts?

Also English A level is somewhat harder to get marks in; they are less forgiving and generally demand more organisation, intelligent points, comparative skills, etc.
