UCAS Clearing

Hi everyone, just a quick question about the clearing through ucas for unis etc: should you still register for clearing if you are holding conditional offers (firm and insurance), just in case you find that results day doesn't go too well, or would you only register for clearing once you've already found out your results after results day? Thanks for your help:smile:

You need to be put into clearing by your firm and insurance to be able to use it or wait until results day if it is bad news you d automatically end up in it. You can still use the search without being it in though.

You don't need to register for clearing. You'll be placed into clearing automatically if your firm and insurance reject you.

You don't register for clearing. If you don't meet your offers and the unis won't take you with lower grades, you're put in as automatically.
You will go into Clearing automatically if both your Firm or your Insurance do not accept you in August.

You probably wont need any of this - most people panic about now and usually they are worrying about nothing and get the grades they need - but its a good idea to be prepared.
