Harvard Referencing Content??

My lecturer has released an assignment that requires Harvard Referencing, I know how the layout is and how to implement such references but I'm stuck on an issue. When read multiple sources and formed my own understanding and knowledge from those would I need to reference all of those sources.

For example if I have to explain how a computer works would I need to cite everything and just have my opinions left on it? Or could I explain and not reference?

Hope you can help.
Better to have more than less.
It's just adding a number in a box.....

But from having compiled multiple sources into a sentence are you meant to reference multiple sources put into your own words for one line?

If it's for an EPQ, at the end you can write it in the review, analysis, conclusion.
Or just mention it is the author's view, after having considered all the sources, as stated above....
