I was wondering if any of you lovely freshers would like to share the Freshers Fortnight line up with us oldies - I can't find it anywhere on the internet and the SU don't send out packs to 2nd/3rd years!
Just interested in what they've got planned this year is all haha...

I think the best night is the second Monday, the bar crawl is probably the best thing, allllllllll the halls are out.

Thank you for asking it, was wondering the same thing myself!
I'm deffo not going to everything, but I'll certainly go to the Welcome Party, Oktoberfest, and the S Club thing I just don't want to spend all my money on alcohol, before uni's even begun. How can you "get to know" people with loud music and stuff? I'm more of a "having a chat down the pub" type of person.

Yeah this is pretty much my attitude.
Getting totally smashed is neither fun nor is it really sociable, because you don't actually meet anyone else. All you do is get drunk with them! Come morning, you probably won't even remember their face unless they're in your bed.
Proper pubs with a nice cold pint and a chat are where it's at
