Give in your cv to many, many shops. Try the nearest town. I go all the way to Oxford St. for mine. Once you have some experience at at least one retail job your sorted in the sector really. Try job centres but they never really helped me...connexions is supposed to be very good.

As well as making a CV (Not always the best if you have no prior experience but some schools will help you) and filling in applications forms, go down to a local employment agency. Most of these are free to job seekers and you will more often that not find work. Agencies have many employers registered with them and then they take jobseekers like yourself to fill temporary positions. Also, go down to your local job centre. You may be able to do the jobs that you listed by approaching the companies. The worst you will hear from them is no. Remember to apply to as many as possible though, If one place thinks that you cannot be a temp that isn't to say that tomorrow you will fiond somewhere.
