I'm off to my lit exam in a bit... what should I think about to avoid panicking?

you doing the AS lit? OCR? i'm panicking atm- i got a really bad habit of leaving everything till the last minute! but thats the way the information gets stuck in my head! good luck for your exam and don't over load seconds before you enter the exam hall!! thats a big no no.

I'm doing AS lit with Edexcel. Are you having your exam today too? If so, good luck to you too! I'd suggest just going over the stuff you already know. Don't start anything new now... that's just gonna make you panic more

oo edexcel! are you allowed to take in your novel in with you or do you have to learn the quotes? and yep my exams today at 1:30! i hope easy questions come up- or the ones that im good at anyway lol. eat chocolate before you go in!

Yep, we're allowed to take them in I'm doing Wuthering Heights and The Color Purple for my texts and Andrew Motion's 'Work' anthology for the poetry. IDK how it goes with OCR but we have 3 sections: the two I mentioned and unseen poetry I hope I get a question that I practiced lol Chocolate? Seriously? I'll gladly do that What are your texts?

im doing the great gatsby (not allowed to take the novel in with us..that sucks!) and im doing wilfred owen poems. we've studied 15poems but don't know which ones going to come up in the exam! theres only 2 questions int the OCR exam. for each question theres two choices..pick which ever one your better at...oh and chocolate apparently gives you energy before your exam. i just take a pro plus tablet. it keeps me going :P:

That's just nonsensical... I'm sure they'll change the rule sometime soon. We've had to study 16 poems; one of the two poems will be chosen and we'll have to decide which other poem to compare/contrast it to. Gah ._. So stressed. I really wanna do well in this :/ Isn't pro plus really strong? :O

lol it is! i actually searched it up on google couple of days ago and its like advising students to take it, i find that quite stupid, but yeah its strong- great if you want to pull of an all nighter. i don't take it much though (why does it seem like i sound like a student on crack? lol)

Yeah lol you do sound like it haha I'm kidding I remember my sister took it a couple of times when she was doing her degree. I don't dare to take something as strong as pro plus cos it might be a bit too strong for me. I'd rather live on coffee and bananas

I really need to stay as calm as possible cos my mind turns blank when I go to exams and I can't write well under timed conditions. What should I think about before going into the exam?
