Yeah, they have quite a big camping section in my local Tesco Extra. Better ring up before you go to make sure they have it in stock. Apparently it's £7.50 for a Tesco Value 2 Person Tent. Did me fine for 3 festivals.

I need to purchase a very cheap 1 person tent from somewhere local so I can use for a day and then I don't want the hassle of having to carry it so I just want to dispose of it then.

Suggestions for local shops like ASDA, etc, that may sell tents.

By 'dispose of it then', do you mean dump it in the field you slept in for someone else to deal with?
