Insurance for a Lamborghini

Hi all,
There's a chance that i could be getting a lambo when i'm 20, i'll have 3 years no claims and i have pass plus and advanced driving qualifications. Anyone know of any insurance companies likely to insure me?
(confused.com doesn't quote me btw)
There's no guarnatee ill get the car, i'd rather check out the insurance and know i can get insured before i get one
Cheers

Want a blunt answer? None.

If its a classic lambo you might be able to go with a company that specialises in classic cars for a resonable price. If your getting a newer lambo I guess price isnt an issue and your just looking for a company to insure you which will be harder to do.

Try giving adrian flux a ring, they are brokers and might be able to find you a policy.

My neighbor at home collects them, I think he uses a trader policy. The people next door to them do the same with their Nobel.
No one in Huddersfield's got a Lambo let alone a 20 year old.

Actually, I know a guy from Huddersfield who is a property developer who owned a Lambo Murcielago, as well as a Bentley Continental GT, Range Rover Vogue SE, and a Ferrari 360. The last time I saw him a couple of years back he was placing an order for an LP670. He runs the Lambo and Ferrari as experience day cars, spending most weekends at a track letting other people drive them. This both pays for the cars and makes them tax deductible, or something  He also used to write a column in Evo Magazine about the car, detailing his adventures in the car, ownership experience, servicing and modification costs etc.

When I was 17 I actually tried to see if I could get insured on a Gallardo (just curious) as a named driver, cheapest quote was about £7k, small price for someone who can afford to let their 17 year old son drive their lamborghini.

Worst. Troll. Ever.

Its funny cause no insurance company will in hell insure a 17 year old/18 year old or 20 year old for a sports car - not to mention you have to drive a normal car for 3 years before insurance companies will cater.

Troll failure
Pretending you're not a troll, to insure a guy that age on an Audi R8 would be in the region of 10k - 20k at least, so put that into perspective with a gallardo/spyder etc.... I hope you have filthy rich parents.

In cases like this (especially if you're lucky enough that money is no object) you'll either buy very very high premium insurance, or you can put money in a bond to the tune of 110k (atleast) and this will mean your car is legally insured.

I've seen this on the forums a few times and it's simply not true - it doesnt matter how much money you have in the bank, you still need a valid car insurance policy. Do you know how easy it would be to do 110k of damage?

NIG insurance, that's who I'm with and I'm insured to drive anything (for business purposes), however if the car is for leisurely use.. it will be near impossible to get insurance until you're at least 25.
You should try Sheilah's Wheels. They pretend they're only for women but that's discriminatory. They HAVE TO insure men too. They insured me on my space ship.

Probably the insurance price will be your future, newborn son.
there simply ARE insurers who will cover young drivers on supercars, but they are as you would expect silly expensive.

OP is clearly trolling though. If he is from the kind of background where he can afford a new lambo then he wouldnt be asking such stupid questions on the internet.

The power does exist. The sum of £500,000 has to be paid in Court. See section 144 of the Road Traffic Act 1988 as amended by section 20 of the Road Traffic Act 1991.
