Very annoying guy in lectures keeps swearing at me

I am also a guy. But, i hardly know him, we have talked and have had friendly chit chat before.

But, for some reason he has randomly started swearing at me in corridors (he is very immature and calls everyone names and play fights with them) and always jokingly swears at me as he is coming into the lecture theatre.

Should i take this seriously or am i overreacting?
