Doesn't bother me; both come with their positives and negatives

A boy, I need someone to pass on my name to..
    That sounds so selfish.

Wouldn't mind either way, but i think i would prefer a boy. Even though I am a girl, I'm a bit of a tomboy so if i had a girl i would almost vomit having to dress her in pretty pink dresses. Plus girls are more fussy with their hair and make up.
With a boy I could give him my old action men, give him dinosaur stuff, and he wouldnt be so afraid to go outside and get a bit muddy! He could be the next Bear Grylls :O
Why couldn't your daughter be a tomboy too? Do you think you're special? Shockingly gender sterotypical here. Would you be dissapointed if your son didn't conform to the macho lifestyle you've picked out for him?

A girl. I always wanted a sister when I was growing up (I cried when I found out my mum was going to have a boy) so a daughter would be the next best thing.

I think I'd prefer a boy, less drama I guess. Plus my nephew is the most adorable thing on the planet.
