I've just applied there and been asked to complete an online assessment test within the next 48 hours. Is there anything I can do to better prepare myself, or should I just jump in head first and see what happens?

Just the usual tests. Numerical is provided by Kenexa and is super easy. Practice some of tests and you'll be fine.
