Help with Automotive Engineering Jobs!

Hi all!
im an international student on the verge of completing my MSc in automotive engg at Leeds..... i hav no prior work experience in the auto industry & i need a work permit to work in the UK..... & i've done my Bachelors' in Instrumentation Technology..... i kniow....tis looks pretty bad..... but i love cars and cant think of working in any other sector.....
how bad does this look? any good thing i can look forward to in my life?
any info would b greatly appreciated..

At what level do your work? If you want to be a machanic the normal way is to do an NVQ on the job.

You could always consider getting a permit (which you will need anyway) and setup your own garage, if you have a speciality you could make a lot of money.

I don't think there is a shortage of machanics but there is a shortage of vehicle electronics specialists, i.e people that know how ECUs work inside out etc.
