Is it possible to still look through clearing courses and ring universities even though I hold a place? I'm confused :s

Some will talk to you informally but they can't confirm anything. Really they need to know your Clearing number which you can't get until you are released from your current uni.

You can ring them, but they aren't supposed to talk to you without a clearing number.
