Science GCSE Courses

Hi!
I just need help clarifying the differences between doing the core, addition and further science course compared to doing separate science GCSEs.

Sorry if this has been posted before and/or if it's not clear.

Thanks

Core = 1 GCSE in Science
Additional = 2 GCSEs in Science
Further (Triple Award) = 3 GCSEs, 1 in Chem, 1 in Bio and 1 in Phys.

Triple is more specialized for each separate science subject and involves extra units compared to core and additional.

New to this, not sure how to start my own thread but. I recently got my core science gcse results ( AQA ) which I did last year. I got a C, do you think it is worth me retaking? considering all the other exams i have at the end of this year? ( I'm in Year 11 )

Depends, if you were expecting an A* then maybe it's worth it, but if you were predicted a B and were slightly disappointed then it's probably best to leave it and to concentrate on your other exams.
