Hey, I start 12th June, have you got your contract to sign and return? Is it just the bottom of the offer letter? Can't believe it's this summer though!

I can't believed what happened. I went there just to be told that there was a technical error and they told us the wrong location of the AC in the email. And they sent us home and invited us next month. I had to travel 450 miles to get there and I was a bit out of pocket too. Now I have to go back again...

I was also offered the role of Technical Consultant instead of Technology Solutions Specialist which is what I applied for but Technical Consultant was the role I really wanted to go for so I'm very happy with this! :biggrin:

I applied for the role technical solutions specialist and I have an assessment centre on the 14th january. If anyone has applied for this role and had done the assessment centre can you please let me know how it went and what you did during the assessment centre? How would you recommend that I prepare for it? What kind of group exercises did you do?

Sorry for all the questions but this is my first assessment centre so I'm kind of nervous. Thanks.

Hi, I have recently been invited to a business interview regarding a placement in South Bank. I was wondering do all the placements take place in London or Porstmouth, or all IBM UK locations? This is because next summer it would be better for me to be closer to home for personal reasons. Do you think its worth asking about this, or does it seem too fussy, as I dont want to put the chance of me getting the placement at risk. Thanks!
